What everyone's wondering!

Hello everyone! As the weather gets progressively colder, and the season lurks closer and closer, more people ask me when the resort will open. At present time, everyone gets the same answer: keep an eye on the weather, and keep checking back. At this particular time, we do not have a set opening date, and it's too soon to tell when the weather will turn to become continuously cold.

I will say that NOAA's forecast this morning showed a chance of snow showers in the area starting Wednesday and continuing through the week. We will certainly not be opening this week, but residents may see a few puffs of white when we test our snowmaking system...so keep a look out.

Next week, I'll probably update the Snow Phone, so that will be another source of information as we get closer and closer to our opening day. In the meantime, check out the new website, pick up a Winter Card, and keep on keepin' on!

Hey great question! We're in the process of setting them up -- trust me, they are definitely on the to do list. The system (2 cameras included) has been purchased. I'll keep you guys updated!

Jessica, thanks for the updates, and this year's site looks great!
Do you know what brands will be at the demo day yet? and I agree a tele gear demo would be fun!

I totally agree -- it would be great to have tele stuff, though I am not sure it will happen. I'll mention something to the shop people.

The regular guys will be at the Demo Day - Rossi, Fischer, Salomon, etc. If you want a full list, you can call the retail shop - 800-HunterMtn x2233

The web cams will probably be stationed at the top and bottom of the mountain, but we are not positive on where we are going to put them.

You can access the Snow Phone by calling 800-HunterMtn. We have not yet activated the message, but will soon!
