Snowmaking Update

Bruce, our snowmaking manager and unofficial video correspondent, sent a message over for posting today...here it is!

Well we survived the rains that Heinz field in Pittsburgh could not, yes we lot some snow but we are still in great shape and recovery will be quick 1 night and then ready to start the big moves.

Tuesday 27th we will be starting up in the afternoon as the temps drop hopefully we will be up and running by 4:00 PM. Tonight we will be on HBK and off Broadway, Madison, Mossy.

The weather for tonight will be cold enough to resurface what we have with some powder and position us for the next big moves, which will be on Thursday. The temps on Wed. are not good so we will start up on Thursday.

The next move we will be going to the Belt, Minya, Lower Xover, Ike.

This hopefully will all be opened by Saturday if the Mother Nature gives us a break. The long range looks good and with this we will be able to really start getting some terrain opened up.

So get ready.

Sounds great, looking like you'll have a lot open by the time I get up there next week.

I am coming up next weekend too. I also been up there during thanksgiving weekend. I had a wonderful 4 days of skiing .However just a few terrain were open but those were very challenging. The Hunter team were working very hard , they made snow 3 days without stop .. So come up and have some fun.Great work.

This is very useful information this time of year, as people are trying to decide what days this week to come up -- thanks a lot, and keep up the GREAT communication!

I hope I am misunderstanding the pricing for this week. It appears that Big Lift Card holders will pay $39 now, but only $32 when the mountain is completely open?

Please tell me it isn't so....
