Some shots from opening day!

It's a great opening day here at Hunter Mountain...temps are in the high 40's, but thanks to our Snowmakers, their decision to make snow from summit to Mid-Station was a great one, and we haven't lost much cover, if any! Our base depth exceeds 48," so there is plenty of snow for everyone!

Enjoy the photos, and keep checking back for more updates!

Is there going to be a proper conditions report soon? (Like you've had in previous years, with all the trails and their status listed?)

Yes, absolutely. It doesn't come as part of the new website so we have to create it ourselves. Steve is working on it as I write this, so it will be up ASAP.

Great, thanks.

Thank you for being so honest about your conditions. This in itself puts you head and shoulders above most other ski areas. Jerry

I really appreciate that. I try to be as honest as possible...I didn't always get to ski for free, after all, and sure don't want anyone else to spend money based on someone else's embellishing!
