More Information About Opening Day

Earlier today we announced that Hunter Mountain will be open for upper mountain skiing and riding (summit to Mid-station ONLY) on Wednesday, November 21. There will be servicing via F-lift. This terrain is available for advanced skiers and riders only.

The trails open will be Hellgate to 7th Ave/Mid-station. Adult lift tickets are $39 until terrain is further expanded...we hope to have summit-to-base skiing available this weekend, weather permitting.

Breakfast and lunch will be served in the cafeteria/food court starting on Wednesday. The bar will be open until 7pm on Friday, 8pm on Saturday (with live entertainment, and the pizza bar will be open), and 7pm on Sunday.

Children's programs are not available at this time. Limited Playcare will be available on Saturday and Sunday. Please call 800-HunterMtn for further information, or visit our website at HunterMtn.com!

We hope to see you out there soon!!!

how about skipping kennedy to the bottom to start with and opening up cliff to 7th avenue to F?

that will spread the traffic out and keep everything up higher where it has a better chance of staying through the season.

yeah it'd be nice if there was another top to mid station trail for thanksgiving

Glad you're opening. I'm thankful for anything that can be skied. Hellgate to F works fine for me...

Quit whining and realize that the people who get paid to plan this stuff know more about snow making than you do. Go ski, have fun, and stop pretending you know how to run hunter mountain.

We're going to have a rail jam on Saturday (weather permitting) so we'll see what we can get up. We won't have a box or rail up before then, though. Sorry!

The web cams have been ordered and are on their way here. When they arrive, they will be set up.

Hi Jessica,
on the website it says that the Big Lift cards will be mailed (I want to buy one for the first time).
Can't I just buy one the first time I'm up there? Together with the lift ticket?
Please let me know,

thanks,

ali
