Snowmaking: Friday Update

Here's the scoop - Right now we are making snow on the Belt top to bottom, Minya, Lower Xover. We are concentrating on these trail with all we can so that they will be opened up on Saturday.

Saturday we will try our best to get out of everybody's way but this early in the season we still have to take advantage of the weather so there will be some guns on the opened trails. We will move to the terrain park, Ike, Boston Road, and maybe the Cliff or Heuga?? (depends on the wind), if everything goes right.

The weather looks good with some COLD weather so this will give us a big boost in getting more terrain opened.

Forget Christmas shopping at the malls come take advantage of the early season snow with no crowds out there, while your here buy your presents: Big Lift Card, Winter Card, or stop by the ski shop!

ALSO: For those of you who were wondering about the Quad, it's currently operating and has been repaired. Thanks for your patience!

Hi Jessica! Any word on ticket pricing for tomorrow & Sunday? Thanks for the great updates so early in the season!

I'm hoping pricing will come in at the end of the day. Depending on how much terrain we open, tickets could be at $53 this weekend. That was the set price if we open enough terrain.

FYI standard midweek pricing will be in effect this weekend. Adults $53

Jessica , you need to update the conditions page, It hasn't been updated since Monday the 26th, and I check it several time a day every day. I understand that weather conditions do dictate when and where the mountain can make snow, but when the "pic of the day" shows more than the conditions page and it makes me wonder why. I base my decision where to ski that day based on that. All I want for Sunday is an updated web page and I won't spend 53 dollars for what you will have open it's just not worth the money.Your pricing is getting astronomical, it's ludicrous. I might as well just go to Vermont.I know you won't post this so pass this on to the people that make these decisions. After all your job in the blog is to make Hunter look great but I'm not biting.

Sir,

You are looking at the wrong page.

That page is not even a part of our website. We update our conditions twice daily. The best thing to have done would be to check the website to make sure that page was actually the snow reporting page (which it isn't). Our actual snow reporting page will tell you that we updated on the 30th and are updating this morning.

Have a lovely day.
