Hey, I said this before -- any time anyone wants a picture in the blog, come into marketing and ask to take a picture with one of us...and lo and behold, you'll be in the blog as a loving fan! Stop by next time you're around and get me, and we'll get a pic together. The pics of the day aren't really of people, they are just random shots.

The terrain park will be open for CMS Slopestyle on Saturday but not available for other people. Sunday it should be available. I skied through it today and it won't take much to fix up.

I am actually going to ski through the terrain park to take some shots of them building right now -- it's going to be open later today, and the lower part will be open tomorrow...everything we have will be available for people on Sunday.

A tailslap aint nothin' compared to a Moose Knuckle Sandwich.

Jessica,
Where do the names for the runs come from anyway? I don't get up there as often as I'd like, but will be there in one week. Hopefully with the colder temps this week, you guys will be able to open more trails up. I'll ski on anything white, and sometimes yellow too. Yummy!!
P.S. Go Knucks

Jess,
Your blog and updates are great. You have a genuine passion for your job and Hunter...it shows. Unfortuantely, I strongly disagree with the logic of your snow making crews and management on the frequency and duration of snow making activities....I've read the other blogs you've posted regarding the snowmaking, and while I believe you believe that info....I feel it is moosewash. Accordingly, by blessing of the Grand Mooseknuckle Guru, we are officially changing the destination of our annual Team Mooseknuckle Ski event to your local rival. MOOSEKNUCKLES....OUT!!!

Hey I have a house near bear creek landing between hunter and tannersville i haven't been up because of school but my friend whent up there and said the skiing was great except on some of your trails there is a big mudstrip in the middle of them. Or rocks or grass or something of that sort. Hope you guys can get it fixed up in a couple of weeks tho, can't wait to come up.

Ooook...the names? I don't know the full history but a lot of them are named after political people and areas of NYC. Jimmie Heuga Expressway has a story behind it, as does Claire's and Minya Konka, so I don't know. Stop by and ask Orville! He's got some stories to tell!

I do love my job and thank you for noticing. You guys are seriously going to Windham because you think we're not making enough snow? That's too bad. Oh well.

I have no idea what this mudstrip is all about. None of our trails have any dirt or mud. The only areas where long pieces of grass are sticking out are upper crossover on the sides and in some spots of the terrain park...you can still ski right on top of them with no problem. So I am pretty confused.
