Throwing up the rails!

I know some of you are aching for the terrain park to open -- so I took a few shots of the Park Crew working on the rails you'll be riding tomorrow if you're here...enjoy! Click on images for larger versions!

And remember, Catskill Mountain Series Slopestyle is tomorrow!

Omg yes! I snuk a few runs through the park today, the kicker is nice.. do you know how big it is? Also.. that wide/flat rail is pretty nice too how longs that? Looks good anyway i hope to see some snow making on the westsideeee :)

Yeah I saw one or two people go past the rope, which is not cool but holy crap that snow in the halfpipe was AMAZING!

No idea about the rails, I'll get a report later on today.

I went past the rope one time... then it looked like either the wind blew it away and the closed sign down.. or someone purpously did it, anyway it looks really nice, some big rollers before the kickers would be nice too :)

Hi there! I'm planning to come and ski tomorrow... You had mentioned there were going to be competitions... Does that mean that some of the trails will be closed off so the rest of them might be crowded?

No no no. There is only a partial area closed off -- the top of the terrain park. Everything else is open to the public. Sunday, Ike will be closed for a different race. That's all we're closing. Nothing else.
