Hey again guys, I took some pictures from up top to show you all the fantastic corduroy snow coming all the way down Hellgate. I hope some of you come by tomorrow to check it out!
This is so awesome that you are updating us like this - I haved skiied Hunter on Thanksgiving for the past 8 years --- I love skking while everyones else eats! The last 3 years it has snowed on Thanksgiving, all my Central NJ friends NEVER beleive me - but it has! Looks like we will get our Thanksgiving miracle again! Much love and appreciation for keepng us hrdcore fans up to date - this blog is terrific, last year I just drove up and prayed!

Also, unfortunately there will not be skiing available on the Belt by Sunday. It takes far too long to blow snow on a two-mile strip to have it ready in a few days. Sorry!
hey today was awesome. we made the drive from north jersey in the rain so i had my doubts but hunter never seems to dissapoint. but whats the deal with the scanners at the bottom of the lift?? thats gonna take forever when the season gets into full swing. :/
hopefully it's gonna stay at least the same way for the upcoming Demo weekend. So far the weather forecast seems to be really bad. Will the Demo weekend be postponed in case the weather and snow conditions are gonna suck?
Glad to hear you guys liked it -- we have implemented scanners, and we will have enough people doing them during the full-blown season to make it ok. Because of the different kinds of passes we offer, it's easier to use scanners to process people. As for demo weekend, by next Thursday a cold front is moving in...so everything should be ok. No worries.

Any chance that the mountain will be open top to bottom by sunday?- At least on the Belt?
