If the weather stays cold, we'll blow snow next week. Everything is tested, moved and running fine.

its stupposed to be in like the 50's for like 5 days but like 30's at night according to weather.com starting on like the 8th. this weather blows. would you guys blow snow at night if it were that cold even though it would be warm during the day?

we could end up blowing snow despite the warm days, but I think we are going to wait until we blow it and it can stay. Check back Tuesday and I'll have the full snowmaking story -- maybe even some snow, too!

what are the best/worst conditions that you could still blow snow in? is there still a chance that u could open for the 17th like windham is planning on? if not, please tell me some good news for thanksgiving!

Well, I'm actually going to post about this today to let everyone know what is going on. But the answer is, we can only blow when it's below 35 degrees. Today it's raining -- rain is the WORST, hands down, and we're waiting for it to pass. After this week or so of bad weather, we should be all set. Hopefully we will open by Nov 17 but we're not sure yet. We don't want to set an opening date until the last minute because we want everyone to be as informed as possible as to what is REALLY going to happen.
