POWDER ALERT: 8" so far, with up to 12" more coming!!

Hello everyone, and Happy New Year's (Eve)! A huge storm blew through last night and left us with 8" of snow...you all know what that means! It's time to get up to Hunter!

Do you have to work today? Well, if you do, you're still in luck: we have up to 12 inches of snow coming tomorrow throughout the day, so if you miss the opportunity today, there's more coming on New Year's Day! What a way to start off the 2008...with a grand total of up to 20" of powder!

Check the NOAA and Accuweather forecasts for updated information...and we'll keep you up to date with photos, video and more via the Hunterblog and Huntermtn.com!

Join us tonight for Fireworks & Torchlight Parade!

Our New Year's Eve festivities will kick off at 6pm tonight, and will feature a torchlight parade and fireworks (as well as a DJ at the Main Bar area until 7:30)...so come bring in the New Year at Hunter Mountain!

We look forward to seeing you here!
