Lots Going on this Weekend at Hunter!

There are many things going on this weekend at Hunter, and in case you missed any of the announcements, here's a list!

Also keep in mind that The Plaza in the CopperTree will also be open through the weekend, so if you're looking for some different lunch options, head over into the Restaurant and take advantage of the huge windows and a quieter setting!

Saturday:
1. Snowmaking - snowmaking will begin this evening and continue while temperatures stay cold. We're looking at some very cold temperatures for this weekend and continuing into the week, so snowmaking weather is plentiful!

2. Women's Indulgence Camp - our women's only weekend camp kicks off this weekend. While it may be a little late to register for this round, another kicks off in March, sponsored by Burton. If you do want to register for this workshop, we may be able to help you! Contact Jen Schmidt at 800-HunterMtn x2278

3. Free Rail Jam, 5-8pm - that's right -- it's our third of the year, it's free, and it's three hours of enjoying our features. There will be a short intermission for fireworks, but nothing beats a free park event! You must sign a release form and a helmet is required. If you are a minor, continue to RideHunter.com to print out the paperwork (registration & release forms are available for all participants).

4. MLK Fireworks, 6pm - another round of fireworks is in store for our many visitors this weekend -- our MLK fireworks kick off at 6pm. Bar will be open, food will be available for purchase, and there will be plenty to see and do!

5. Live entertainment at the Main Bar, 4-7pm - The SugarBees, hailing from New Paltz, will be playing. Check them out at their official site, thesugarbees.com

Sunday
1. Hunter Mountain Racing Foundation Kiddie Carnival, 4:30-6pm in Colonel's Hall - a special event from the Hunter Mountain Racing Foundation. For more information, contact them!

2. Bar open until the end of the Giants game - we know you want to watch the football game, and we do too! We're keeping the Main Bar open in the base lodge until the bitter end of the football game...so you can rest assured, you won't miss anything! Head over to the Main Bar to enjoy the game with us!

This is going to be a great weekend, with plenty of fresh man-made snow.....we hope to see you here!!
