How about an update on the Quad? It was running pretty poorly due to the weather over the weekend - and then I heard it had motor issues. Will it be fully operational soon?

We don't have operational issues with the Quad. I am not sure where that info is coming from. We're having issues with wind, and that's why the quad has been closed. We do not have motor issues as of now....we've just had a few days of very, very strong winds.

Just wondering if the quad is running - i see from the snow report the there is "?" as to the running status. There is no wind today wed 12/17

There is wind at the summit. They just started up the Quad, no guarantee that it will stay running all day, but it's looking good right now.

Keep in mind that even if wind is light or moderate at the base, it can be very strong and gusty at the summit.

I heard from various high up sources that the quad had a fire in the engine room and that was one of the main causes for it being slow in the morning when there was no wind on sunday.

The issue you are referring to took place on Saturday night. That problem was resolved by the following day. It ran on 75% power on Sunday because of that. So I am not quite sure what you are asking me at this point.
