The Weather Ahead: This Week

Hello and happy Sunday everyone!

We have some pretty good conditions today, with some trails closed because the snow was too slippery after all the rain. Contrary to what many of you think, while we've lost much of our ground snow, we lost negligible amounts of trail snow, and previously open trails are still ski/ride-able.

This week's forecast looks great through the end of the week -- sun and cold temperatures will prevail, with temps warming up to the high 30's after Monday and Tuesday. Stay tuned with the forecast!

This week on the agenda we've got the last LocalMotion tomorrow, and a busy weekend with the Burton Women's Camp, Moguls & More workshop and a Mini World Cup competition.

Keep checking back!

How icy are the slopes now after the rain? Any chance of snow guns running tonight or tomorrow?

Are you going to have a special day again like last year for season pass holders at other mountains?

Yep, I posted it a few days ago:

Have a Pass Somewhere, Anywhere? Ski at Hunter!

Do you have a pass to another mountain? Would you like to spend a day at Hunter? March 30 is the day to do it! Anyone with a 2007-08 season pass to any mountain in the world is eligible for a free day of skiing or riding at Hunter Mountain on March 30, our Any Mountain Season Passholder Day!

Also, there's not an ice issue right now. There's a lot of sun so it's softening the snow, the groomers have run over the trails enough times that the snow is definitely back to normal.

Thanks, sorry that I missed the original post! Glad to hear you are having a quick recovery from the storm!

It's cool! Yeah, we really didn't have too rough of a time, it was mostly after it froze up that we shut some stuff down for safety reasons.
