Beginner Terrain + Programs This Saturday!
Hello from Hunter Mountain!
Snowmaking has continued over the past couple of nights and we were able to cover terrain over on Hunter One as well as Belt Parkway. This means we have beginner and intermediate terrain available for the weekend. On Saturday, December 8th we will open Central Park North, Gramercy Park and Bucky's Run, as well as Belt Parkway and The Battery.
Seasonal Programs and Competition Teams will also begin this Saturday. Competition Teams will meet at the bottom of B-Lift at 8:30 am sharp! For more information please contact Jim Catalano. For more information regarding the Seasonal Programs please contact Chris Karas.
See you this weekend.

2012/13 Season Opening Weekend Highlights
Check out these highlights from Opening Weekend at Hunter Mountain! On Friday November 30, 2012 we had a special Season Passholder Appreciation Day, followed by the official opening on December 1st. $40 Lift tickets plus discounts for Big Lift Card holders.

Hunter's Hell Track! Raising Money For Japan!

Hunter, NY -- Hunter Mountain will be holding a charity event on Saturday, April 9th to raise money for Japan. The event will feature a "Hell Track" -- a modified boardercross-style track in the Empire Terrain Park. Registration will be held from 10am to noon in the base lodge; riders will meet at noon in the Yurt.
Participants must have a lift ticket ($25 special rate this weekend) or season's pass and make a $15 donation, which will buy them a wristband for unlimited access to the track. Raffle tickets are included in the donation, and additional raffle tickets can be purchased separately. All proceeds from the event will be donated to mercycorps.org.
Raffle tickets will be on sale to the general public as well. Prizes include skis, snowboards, helmets, outwear, goggles and much more. Sponsors include Arbor Snowboards, Ashbury, Bern, Birdseyeboardshop.com, Capita Snowboards, Coal Headwear, Flow Snowboards, Homage Brooklyn, Mount Everest Ski Shop, Nike 6.0, Oakley, O'Neil, Orage, Ovr Ride, Salomon Skis, ThirtyTwo & Union Bindings. Stompson Drops By Hunter!
Jeremy "Stompson" Thompson dropped by Hunter's Empire Park on Saturday to log a couple laps and check out the park! He is on his way to the US Open and decided to swing by Hunter, and this is what we came up with! We had some camera issues earlier in the session, hence the wobble, whoops! hah Either way, enjoy!

Stompson in Slopestyle Dew Tour Finals!
Here are highlights of yesterday’s Dew Tour Slopestyle Finals at Killington. Below is the video link if you missed it last night on NBC. Jeremy did extremely well placing 6th among the best athletes in the world and landing a double cork backside 12 (as seen in video). Hunter Mountain even got some air time via his Hunter logo on the nose of this board(seen on NBC last night). “Stompson” has an alternate spot in the X Games, so wish him luck!
