We shut down this morning with a inversion temps up top were 29 and about 24 at the bottom so with those temps and the forecast we gave up. The weather does not look like it will cooperate the next few days...then again, it keeps changing everyday so nobody really knows what's up until it
happens.
As of now we will start up tomorrow at some point in the day, we will try to get more opened up in Hunter One, build up some trails and look for a good forecast with some cold weather so we can move to K27, then either Annapurna or 44........ all depends on Mother Nature. The riding and skiing is really good--nothing like last year--so get up here and give it a try!

Hey - we were up last weekend and the snowmaking was awesome. Any possibility of blowing a reserve pile at the top of the quad so the ramp could be continuously replaced with snow? You had to be an experienced skiier to maneuver off the quad, onto the plastic mesh, on Monday with the wind blowing off the snow and blowing skiiers backwards. Speaking of wind, is there any possibility in putting up some sort of wind barrier at the top of the quad - that might help with keeping the snow on the ramps too?? It was soooo cold and it was fabulous skiing Claires.
Looking forward to more trails.....yippee
Can't wait to get up there this weekend! It will be my 4th time up to Hunter already this season. I swear this is the best early season in a decade!
Bruce go for 44 first haven't had that in a few years. Annapurana can be done in a few days hit 44 while you can you have some natural for a head start and the hoses are ready to go. 44 is one of the best trails in the east just ride y lift when 44 is going off. Thanks.
